    MALAYSIA share prices opened lower on Friday, with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index down 13.29 points or 0.9 per cent to 1,496.42 as at 9.25 am.

    Volume was 341.3 million lots worth RM226.9 million (S$71.3 million). Losers outnumbered gainers 416 to 98.
