MALAYSIA share prices opened lower on Friday with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index down 12.09 points, or 0.88 per cent, to 1,369.55 as at 9.32am.

Volume was 505.8 million lots worth RM189.44 million.

Gainers beat losers 193 to 183.
