    MALAYSIA share prices opened lower on Friday, with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index down 2.22 points or 0.16 per cent to 1,417.84 as at 9.12 am.

    Volume was 235.84 million lots worth RM48.41 million. Gainers outnumbered losers 146 to 144.
