MALAYSIAN shares opened lower on Friday morning, with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index down 5.62 points to 1,805.25 as at 9.02am.

Volume was 67.43 million lots worth RM31.83 million.

Gainers outnumbered losers 106 to 94.
