MALAYSIA share prices opened lower on Friday with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index down 12.91 points, or 0.81 per cent, to 1,577.87 as at 9.05am.
Volume was 629.32 million lots worth about RM169.99 million. Gainers beat losers 222 to 189.
