Malaysia: Shares open lower on Friday

    MALAYSIA share prices opened lower on Friday with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index down 5.91 points to 1663.85.

    Volume was 44.4 million lots worth RM23.5 million.

    Gainers outnumbered losers 79 to 57.
