Malaysia: Shares open lower on Friday

MALAYSIA share prices opened lower on Friday with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index down 5.72 points, or 0.36 per cent, to 1,597.23 as at 9.05am.
Volume was 153.74 million lots worth about RM76.26 million. Gainers beat losers 171 to 137.
