    MALAYSIA share prices opened lower on Friday, with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index down 3.41 points or 0.24 per cent to 1434.31 as at 9.19 am.

    Volume was 223.81 million lots worth RM86.96 million.

    Losers outnumbered gainers 171 to 161.
