Malaysia: Shares open lower on Monday

MALAYSIA share prices opened lower on Monday with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index down 5.69 points to 1686.82.
Volume was 35.8 million lots worth RM9.7 million.
Gainers outnumbered losers 90 to 60.
