MALAYSIA share prices started the week on weaker ground, with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index down 8.95 points or 0.56 per cent to 1,601.23 at 9.09am on Monday.
Volume traded was 140.3 million lots worth RM65.9 million.
Losers beat gainers 159 to 146.
