    MALAYSIA share prices opened lower on Monday, with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index down 21.08 points or 1.41 per cent to 1,472.87 as at 9.14 am.

    Volume was 302.5 million lots worth RM163.6 million. Losers outnumbered gainers 547 to 62.
