Malaysia: Shares open lower on Monday

    MALAYSIA share prices opened lower on Monday, with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index down 5.18 points or 0.36 per cent to 1,451.56 as at 9.15 am.

    Volume was 321.0 million lots worth RM151.8 million. Losers outnumbered gainers 226 to 124.
