    MALAYSIA share prices opened lower on Monday, with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index down 2.97 points or 0.23 per cent to 1,433.73 as at 9.14 am.

    Volume was 313.57 million lots worth RM110.72 million. Gainers outnumbered losers 231 to 124.
