    MALAYSIA share prices opened lower on Monday with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index down 1.76 points to 1,656.43 at 9.01am.

    Volume was 73.07 million lots worth RM16.34 million.

    Gainers beat losers 110 to 45.
