    MALAYSIA share prices opened lower on Friday with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index down 8.39 points or 0.53 per cent to 1,561.12 as at 9.07am.

    Volume was 173.98 million lots worth about RM86.00 million. Losers outnumbered gainers 262 to 69.
