Malaysia: Shares open lower on Friday

    MALAYSIA share prices opened lower on Friday with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index down 4.67 points or 0.29 per cent to 1,586.21 as at 9.18 am.

    Volume was 210.27 million lots worth about RM157.95 million. Losers outnumbered gainers 225 to 169.
