Malaysia: Shares open lower on Friday

    MALAYSIA share prices opened lower on Friday with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index down 5.68 points, or 0.36 per cent, to 1,569.64 as at 9.12am.

    Volume was 449.59 million lots worth about RM215.27 million. Losers beat gainers 340 to 166.
