Malaysia: Shares open lower on Monday

    MALAYSIA share prices opened lower on Monday with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index down 2.71 points or 0.18 per cent to 1,524.35 as at 9.13am.

    Volume was 271.58 million lots worth about RM79.84 million. Losers outnumbered gainers 264 to 134.
