Malaysia: Shares open lower on Monday

    MALAYSIA share prices opened lower on Monday with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index down 3.62 points, or 0.22 per cent, to 1,622.57 as at 9.08am.

    Volume was 617.80 million lots worth about RM243.37 million. Losers beat gainers 273 to 256.
