Malaysia: Shares open lower on Thursday

    MALAYSIA share prices opened lower on Thursday (Apr 7) with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index down 3.40 points or 0.2 per cent to 1,601.32 as at 9.10 am.

    Volume was 104.2 million lots worth about RM54 million (S$17.4 million). Losers beat gainers 182 to 119.
