Malaysia: Shares open lower on Thursday

    MALAYSIA share prices opened lower on Thursday with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index down 4.96 points, or 0.31 per cent, to 1,570.71 as at 9.12am.

    Volume was 529.27 million lots worth about RM373.30 million. Losers beat gainers 328 to 168.
