Malaysia: Shares open lower on Tuesday

MALAYSIA share prices opened lower on Tuesday (Apr 5) with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index down 1.7 points or 0.1 per cent to 1,597.2 as at 9.06 am.
Volume was 149.6 million lots worth about RM74.8 million (S$24.1 million). Gainers beat losers 256 to 98.
