Malaysia: Shares open lower on Wednesday

MALAYSIA share prices opened lower on Wednesday with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index down 6.02 points, or 0.37 per cent, to 1,600.12 as at 9.06am.
Volume was 1.58 billion lots worth about RM619.14 million. Losers beat gainers 403 to 275.
