    MALAYSIA share prices opened lower on Thursday with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index down 6.07 points to 1,628.80 at 9am.

    Volume was 67.8 million lots worth RM22.52 million.

    Losers beat gainers 134 to 38.
