Malaysia: Shares open lower on Thursday

MALAYSIA share prices open lower on Thursday with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index down 16.91 points, or one per cent to 1750.91.
Volume was 35.2 million lots worth RM27.9 million.
Losers outnumbered gainers 113 to 75.
