    MALAYSIA share prices opened lower on Thursday with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index down 2.11 points to 1,679.95.

    Volume was 33.9 million lots worth RM7 million.

    Losers outnumbered gainers 99 to 60.
