    MALAYSIA share prices opened lower on Thursday, with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index down 2.70 points or 0.18 per cent to 1,488.65 as at 9.07 am.

    Volume was 147.45 million lots worth RM82.30 million. Gainers outnumbered losers 193 to 111.
