    MALAYSIA share prices open lower on Thursday with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index down 1.36 points to 1784.75.

    Volume was 52.6 million lots worth RM22.41 million.

    Gainers outnumbered losers 98 to 54.
