    MALAYSIA share prices opened lower on Thursday with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index down 1.90 points to 1,688.15 at 9am.

    Volume was 85.13 million lots worth RM13.81 million.

    Gainers beat losers 118 to 41.
