    MALAYSIA share prices opened lower on Tuesday with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index down 0.66 points to 1,570.27 at 9am.

    Volume was 52.48 million lots worth RM19.52 million.

    Gainers beat losers 100 to 49.
