Malaysia: Shares open lower on Tuesday

    MALAYSIA share prices opened lower on Tuesday with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index down 3.98 points to 1,709.15 as at 9.01am.

    Volume was 52.73 million lots worth RM18.82 million.

    Gainers outnumbered losers 98 to 61.
