    MALAYSIA share prices opened lower on Tuesday, with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index down 5.76 points or 0.39 per cent to 1458.24 as at 9.09 am.

    Volume was 157.96 million lots worth RM63.91 million.

    Losers outnumbered gainers 167 to 112.
