    MALAYSIA share prices opened lower on Tuesday with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index down 1.970 points to 1653.000.

    Volume was 19.5 million lots worth RM7.12 million.

    Gainers outnumbered losers 60 to 48.
