    MALAYSIA share prices opened lower on Tuesday with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index down 2.83 points to 1666.99.

    Volume was 40.37 million lots worth RM12.4 million.

    Losers outnumbered gainers 62 to 56.
