    MALAYSIA share prices opened lower on Tuesday, with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index down 6.42 points or 0.43 per cent to 1,480.95 as at 9.05 am.

    Volume was 90.01 million lots worth RM42.58 million. Losers outnumbered gainers 256 to 80.
