    MALAYSIA share prices opened lower on Tuesday with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index down 2.09 points to 1,635.31 at 9am.

    Volume was 29.22 million lots worth RM8.46 million.

    Gainers beat losers 88 to 69.
