    MALAYSIA share prices opened lower on Tuesday with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index down 1.78 points to 1,636.62 at 9.01am.

    Volume was 87.77 million lots worth RM23.17 million.

    Gainers beat losers 63 to 44.
