    MALAYSIA share prices opened lower on Wednesday with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index down 2.02 points to 1,640.67 at 9.01am.

    Volume was 57.19 million lots worth RM16.73 million.

    Gainers beat losers 87 to 77.
