    MALAYSIA share prices opened lower on Wednesday with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index down 4.56 points to 1,746.38.

    Volume was 61.7 million lots worth RM26.42 million.

    Gainers outnumbered losers 103 to 83.
