Malaysia: Shares open lower on Wednesday

MALAYSIA share prices opened lower on Wednesday with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index down 3.460 points to 1721.50.
Volume was 78.42 million lots worth RM7.14 million.
Gainers outnumbered losers 85 to 74.
