    MALAYSIA share prices opened lower on Wednesday with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index down 3.42 points to 1,760.74 at 9.01am.

    Volume was 33.18 million lots worth RM16.44 million.

    Gainers outnumbered losers 70 to 59.
