    MALAYSIA share prices opened lower on Wednesday with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index down 3.39 points to 1,733.89 at 9am.

    Volume was 41.56 million lots worth RM17.06 million.

    Gainers outnumbered losers 111 to 39.
