MALAYSIA share prices opened lower on Wednesday, with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index down 5.85 points or 0.40 per cent to 1,448.89 as at 9.10 am.
Volume was 147.51 million lots worth RM70.66 million. Losers outnumbered gainers 247 to 70.
