Malaysia: Shares open lower on Wednesday

MALAYSIA share prices opened lower on Wednesday with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index down 7.46 points to 1740.45.
Volume was 32.27 million lots worth RM7.77 million.
Gainers outnumbered losers 82 to 74.
