    MALAYSIA share prices opened lower on Wednesday with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index down 5.10 points to 1,779.15.

    Volume was 55.76 million lots worth RM21.91 million.

    Gainers outnumbered losers 116 to 55.
