    MALAYSIA share prices opened lower on Wednesday, with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index down 2.51 points or 0.17 per cent to 1,461.18 as at 9.13 am.

    Volume was 162.95 million lots worth RM57.41 million. Losers outnumbered gainers 158 to 128.
