    MALAYSIA share prices opened lower on Wednesday with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index down 4.89 points to 1,822.01.

    Volume was 110.58 million lots worth RM44.75 million.

    Losers outnumbered gainers 103 to 94.
