Malaysia: Shares open lower on Wednesday

MALAYSIA share prices opened lower on Wednesday with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index down 2.20 points to 1653.72.
Volume was 26.9 million lots worth RM10.6 million.
Gainers outnumbered losers 52 to 37.
