    MALAYSIA share prices opened lower on Wednesday with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index down 0.20 points to 1,697.40.

    Volume was 46.89 million lots worth R21.56 million.

    Losers beat gainers 109 to 60.
