MALAYSIA share prices opened lower on Wednesday with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index down 1.76 points, or 0.11 per cent, to 1,594.17 as at 9.04am.
Volume was 627.68 million lots worth about RM239.66 million. Gainers beat losers 250 to 136.
